ABS/ASA

ABS (Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) is a high strength, high durability material with higher temperature resistance than PLA and PETG. ASA is considered a newer formulation of ABS that provides all the advantages, along with better resistance to UV, so it's colours won't fade when left in an outdoor environment as they might with ABS.

These filaments are good for protoypes, props that are going to sanded/painted, outdoor and tough parts.

The downsides of ABS/ASA are that they have a tendancy to exhibit some shrink and warp while being printed which can impact dimensional accuracy.
